CONCERT ATTIRE: We will be wearing concert black for all performances. This means you will wear clothes that are all black (no graphics or designs). It should be formal and elegant but comfort is important since you’re playing in these outfits. The following are my general guidelines.
Tops:
- Black dress shirt or blouse (shirts must be collared, with buttons and long sleeves)
- If you get cold easily, I suggest a black jacket, cardigan, or sweater as well
- Black jackets, scarves, or ties can be worn if you’d like (I strongly suggest wearing a black tie with a collared shirt)
Bottoms:
- Black dress pants, slacks, skirt, or dress (ankle-length when standing for all bottoms)
Shoes/Socks:
- Black dress does or flats (most be close-toed)
- Must wear black (or very dark blue) socks or black opaque stockings/tights
The following are some examples of clothing that is NOT acceptable (even if black):
- Tops: t-shirts, tank tops, halter tops, crop tops, clothing that is ripped or torn
- Bottoms: jeans, sweats, yoga pants, leggings, shorts, or mini-skirts
- Shoes/Socks: flip-flops, sneakers, shoes with logos or stripes, any non-black socks or stockings, or bare feet
