Tiger Marching Band & Color Guard

Saturday’s event has been cancelled. Note the new performance time, 2:45pm, on Sunday! 

Friday 11/17/23

• Bring luggage (one small bag/student) to the band room in the morning.

• Load buses after lunch, 12:30-1:00 pm

• Depart for Sacramento, ~1:15 pm (make sure students turn in their pink slips to Mr. Crawford for the early dismissal)

• We will stop for dinner along the way, please bring money for dinner.

• Arrive for check-in at hotel, ~9:00pm 

• La Quinta Inn & Suites 11131 Folsom Blvd, Rancho Cordova, CA (916-638-1111)

• Light snack on arrival

Saturday 11/18/23 – Competition canceled due to forecasted thunderstorms

• 7:00-9:00 am, Breakfast at the hotel

• 9:30am Meet in hotel lobby to walk to the field

• 10:00-NOON, practice at indoor soccer field next door to the hotel

• 1 pm LUNCH (at hotel)

• 6 pm dinner (at hotel)

• 10:00, Lights out

Sunday 11/19/23

• 7:00-9:00 am Breakfast

• 10:00 am, load buses/check out of the hotel

• 11:00am, depart for 4A/5A WBA Class Championship 4A/5A WBA Grand Championships (Sacramento State Hornet Stadium, 6000 J Street, Sacramento, CA)

• 11:30am, arrive at Sacramento State Hornet Stadium

• 11:45am restroom break, unload trailer, eat lunch, get dressed

• 12:45 pm, move to warm-up area

• 2:20 pm, at gate for performance

• 2:45 pm, Performance!

• 3:00pm, change out of uniform, load the truck and depart

• Dinner on the road back to SP 

• We will not be staying for the awards. Please bring money for dinner along the way back. We will arrive back in South Pasadena around 1:00 am. We will unload the trailer when we arrive.
